This free online event will take the audience on a musical journey learning the evolving traditions of celebrating Chinese New Year, one of the most important holidays in Chinese culture, through live demonstrations and discussions.

Music at China Institute 华美音乐 offers talks, performances, and Chinese music demonstrations, as well as Chinese music classes for children and adults. The program was launched in a collaborative partnership between China Institute in Manhattan and the US-China Music Institute. Jindong Cai is the Artistic Director.
